About Us

The Village at Boulder Ridge specializes in hosting special events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, family reunions and graduation parties. We are able to provide events ranging from casual outside barbeques to formal sit-down dinners in our main banquet hall, and can accommodate indoor and outdoor weddings as large as 300. We also host school and corporate groups from 15 to 400 with on-site catering, indoor and outdoor spaces, and many group activities available. To ensure impeccable service, we host one event per day allowing our guests exclusive use of the entire facility.

History

The Village at Boulder Ridge was purchased in 2003 by the Ebner family. The facility was previously known as "Olympic Village" and "The Village". Located within miles of the picturesque Saville Dam and the Barkhamsted Reservoir, The Village at Boulder Ridge offers you a place to hold your event surrounded by natures' beauty.

Kristin Ebner Martin

CEO/President
Kris is a third generation owner/president of our parent company, Ebner Camps Inc. She follows in the footsteps of her father (Buzz Ebner), her aunt (the late Barbara Ebner) and grandfather (the late Oscar Ebner Sr.), who all served as Directors of Awosting and Chinqueka, as well as President/Vice President of Ebner Camps, for several decades. Kris is the mom of three boys, all of whom attended Awosting as children. She is currently enjoying being a first time grandmother to Thalia Faye! As President, Kris’ primary goal is to ensure the children and guests at all our facilities have a safe, welcoming and fun environment where they can enjoy their camp session or special event to the fullest!

Heather Stewart

General Manager
Heather is a veteran of the catering & events management business. Her experience and love for her job brings a positive presence and an eye for detail to appease even the most meticulous of planners. When she’s not working with clients to give them the most memorable event possible, she’s usually spending time with her two children in Harwinton. They are the biggest joys in her life, with her events at The Village placing second and getting into her pajamas before 8 p.m. placing a close third. Contact her for all your party needs!
